This year all our students in Grades 6-8 have a Chromebook.  The Chromebooks are an integral part of their learning.  The students have learned how to effectively use Google Drive, organize their notes, and prepare presentations using Google Slides, Google Sheets and Google Forms.  Teachers are using the Chromebook not only to enhance student instruction but to communicate with students about their assignments.  Use of the Chromebooks has allowed us to offer more opportunities for collaborative learning, as students are able to "share" their work with either the teacher or other students.  Teachers are able to comment on work in real time; allowing students to proceed with an activity or change course if necessary.  Their Social Studies textbook is online and next year we hope to add another textbook online.

Parents were invited in for an evening to learn how their children are using this resource.  Students demonstrated the many ways Chromebooks are being used whether it is through Google or other applications.
