Our sixth grade students created a virtual wax museum. Those who entered Lawlor Hall were amazed to see “statues” of famous people set up around the room. Notable figures such as Malala Yousafzoi,Stevie Wonder, Leonardo DaVinci,
Derek Jeter, and Michael Jordan were there. As you approached each statue, all you had to do was press the button in front of them to bring them to life. Students from Mrs. Kersey and Mrs.Piazza’s classes had read biographies of these famous people, created presentations on Google Slides, wrote a short summary of their chosen person’s life and came attired as the person they researched. The students and
teachers have to be congratulated on a well -done presentation
