This year St. Christopher School began a new club...Fantasy Math Baseball under the direction of Mr. Nappi. The club teaches students important math skills in a fun and engaging way. The students used their baseball knowledge to take the concepts of ratio and proportion, data analysis, and probability and use them to create circle graphs based on specially designed baseball cards. They used these graphs to play in a Fantasy Baseball World Series on November 19th at St. Philip and James School.

Ask the Governor to Provide Fairness for Catholic School Families in State Budget
Take Action Now
Governor Andrew Cuomo is currently preparing his proposals for what will become the 2012-13 State Budget. It is critical that the Governor hear from you about the needs of Catholic schools and the families they serve. If additional funding for Catholic schools is not included in the Governor's proposed budget, then it is highly unlikely that the legislature will support the funding that is needed.
Please Take Action Now by clicking the link and sending the pre-written, full editable message to the Governor as soon as possible. Thank you.
And please join our growing community on Facebook and Twitter to get all the latest news from the New York State Catholic Conference, the official public policy voice of Archbishop Timothy Dolan and the New York State Bishops.
